McStreamy.com – The White House Coronavirus Task Force updated news media and the public in a briefing held at the White House in Washington, D.C. today, March 10, 2020. The Task Force is under the direction of United States Vice President Mike Pence, who started the event and introduced various members of the Task Force to report on various aspects of what has been dubbed “a whole government” answer to the Coronavirus outbreak in the United States as a result of the epidemic that started with cases in China.

The COVID-19 strain of the coronavirus has spread relatively rapidly from China to other countries as well as the U.S. It has been described as flu-like, but experts agree it is likely to be much deadlier, worldwide. So far, at this writing, in the United States, there are 950 cases reported and 29 deaths. In other countries, the number of cases and deaths are much larger at this point. It is hoped that the United States cases and deaths will not be as severe as it has been elsewhere.
