McStreamy.com – Donald J. Trump’s former attorney/fixer Michael Cohen [pic] today (12-12-2018) received a sentence in Federal court designed to punish Cohen for illegal activities while acting on behalf of Trump before Trump became President of the United States in the 2016 election. The judge gave Cohen 36 months in prison, which was less than the minimum allowed by law. The leaner sentence was partially due to Cohen being cooperative in the Mueller Special Prosecutor probe into all things related to possible tampering with the U.S. election process by a foreign government.
As a result of his cooperation, Cohen admitted to tax evasion, campaign finance violations and lying to Congress about a Trump real estate project in Russia. Cohen indicated he made illegal hush money payments to two women who had alleged sexual relationships with Trump and had done so to prevent the stories getting out during the 2016 election campaign. Cohen asserts that his actions on behalf of Trump were done with Trump’s knowledge and encouragement.
