McSTREAMY.COM – The ABC Television network has decided to try a “Roseanne” spinoff without Roseanne Barr this Fall. The revival of “Roseanne” earlier this year was an instant success for ABC, until the show’s star, Roseanne Barr, made an error in judgement by issuing a personal Tweet that became a controversial moment that prompted ABC to immediately cancel the revival. Roseanne Barr has agreed to not be associated with a show about the remaining members of The Conner family in order to save the jobs of the 200 production crew and cast members on the show. The new episodes of the show without Roseanne Barr has tentatively been dubbed “The Conners”, starring John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Sara Gilbert, and “other Roseanne cast members”, according to ABC. – McStreamy NewsBriefs
