McSTREAMY.COM – The enthusiastic magician and comedy star, Harry Anderson (pic), has died at 65. Anderson is the Emmy winning funnyman who played Judge Harry T. Stone on the hilarious NBC comedy Night Court from 1984 to 1992. He brought joy as the central figure presiding over the antics of John Larroquette as prosecutor Dan Fieldman; Markie Post as public defender Christine Sullivan; Richard Moll as bald headed Bull Shannon, the bailiff; Marsha Warfield, the tough, no-nonsense bailiff Roz Russell; and Selma Diamond as Selma Hacker on the first two seasons of the comedy series. Diamond died in May 13, 1985. Harry Anderson had appeared often on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, and appeared numerous times on the “Saturday Night Live” show in the 1980s. After “Night Court”, Anderson occasionally appeared in roles following a subsequent series called “Dave’s World” from 1993 to 1997 ended. However his passion was magic, which he performed with humor as often as people would let him. He also had a Magic Store, open to the public.
