McSTREAMY.COM (06/29/2015) – The big winners of 2015 BET Awards were honored during the televised show Sunday, June 28, 2015. Among the winners were Beyonce for Video of the Year and Best Female R&B-Pop Artist; Chris Brown, Best Male R&B-Pop Artist; Nicki Minaj, Best Female Hip Hop Artist; Taraji P. Henson, Best Actress for Empire; Terrence Howard, Best Actor for Empire; and Sam Smith, Best New Artist.
The BET Awards were established in 2001 by the Black Entertainment Television network to celebrate African Americans and other minorities in music, acting, sports, and other fields of entertainment over the past year. Photos of many 2015 BET award winners are shown below.
