McSTREAMY.COM (04/22/2017) – Happy Days and Joanie Loves Chachi co-star Erin Moran reported dead in Indiana, at 56. Preliminary results of the investigative process indicate she had stage 4 cancer. Moran was found unresponsive Saturday afternoon by authorities after they received a call. Erin Moran played Ron Howard’s little sister as part of the Cunningham family on the popular Happy Days television series. The show, based in 1950s era Wisconsin, originally aired in the 1970s, and has continued in reruns ever since. She continued to play the character on a Happy Days spin off, Joanie Loves Chachi, co-starring Scott Baio, in the 1980s. Erin Moran had fallen on hard times since her popularity.
