McStreamy.com – Twenty-eight days before the mid-term national elections, United States UN Ambassador Nikki Haley has resigned from her position at the United Nations.  Nimrata “Nikki” Haley, 46, is currently the 29th United States Ambassador to the United Nations and is expected to continue to serve as President Donald J. Trump’s UN Ambassador through the end of 2018. Before joining the Trump administration nearly two years ago, she served as the 116th Governor of South Carolina, and is a former member of the South Carolina House of Representatives. Haley says she does not have plans to run against Trump in 2020, as some have speculated, but instead expects to campaign for his election to a second term. She says she has been proud of her work at the United Nations, however, she is looking forward to the next challenge in her life after a break from the constant demands of the past eight years. She hasn’t made any public announcement of future plans beyond finishing the current term as U.N. Ambassador. President Trump has accepted Haley’s resignation. Speculation has begun in earnest about why she has resigned, who will replace her, and, what happens next? – McStreamy NewsBriefs
