McSTREAMY.COM (04/30/2017) – The CBS-TV daytime talk show called, The Talk, took away the honor of being Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Hosts on television during the Daytime Emmy Awards presented Sunday, April 30, 2017. ABC’s Good Morning America was designated Outstanding Morning Program. The Dr. Oz Show received the nod for Outstanding Informative Talk Show. Jeopardy was the big boy in the Game Show category. Steve Harvey won for Outstanding Syndicated Informative Talk and for his syndicated version of Family Feud. Ellen DeGeneres is the Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show. Outstanding Entertainment News award was given to Entertainment Tonight. General Hospital took the lead spot in Outstanding Daytime Drama Series. Emeril Lagasse cooked up a winning dish with Eat the World in the Outstanding Culinary Program category.
