McStreamy.com – This White House Coronavirus Task Force Briefing to the news media and viewers took place March 25, 2020 in the White House, Washington, D.C. After introductory remarks by VP Pence, Dr. Birx has an interesting personal reason why it’s important to follow Task Force guidelines. This is Part 1 of the Task Force part of a News Conference that took place Wednesday afternoon at the White House.
Dr. Birx is an American physician and diplomat who has served as Ambassador-at-Large and United States Global AIDS Coordinator since 2014, responsible for the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) program in 65 countries supporting HIV/AIDS treatment and prevention programs. She has received two U.S. Meritorious Service Medals, and,a Legion of Merit Award for her research, leadership and management during her tenure at the U.S. Department of Defense.
