McStreamy.com – The Director-General of the World Health Organization has declared that the Coronavirus COVID-19 epidemic has developed into a “pandemic” largely because it has been spread rapidly to many other countries, and easily transferred to other humans with heightened speed. The COVID-19 outbreak is thought to have originated in China, in what is called a “wet market” in Wuhan, China. A wet market sells live animals to be butchered for human consumption. These animals are sometimes wild and often are bred and raised in animal farms to be marketed at wet markets.

There are hundreds of live and butchered animals at these locations. If an animal infected with the virus is kept in the wet market area and associates with other animals, the virus can spread to those other animals. If humans touch the infected butchered meat, the virus can be spread to the human. Equally, if a human unknowingly purchases and eats an infected animal’s meat, the virus contained in that meat will then infect the human who consumes it. When the human is infected the virus can then be easily spread to other humans through the air that we all breathe, or by touching the surface upon which a sneezed droplet has fallen, and subsequently touching lips, nose, eyes, and face.

Here is a video to further explain how this all started:

The COVID-19 Virus can be spread by breathing in droplets sneezed by an infected person or picking up droplets that have landed on, or have been transferred to, a surface that you touch, and you subsequently touch your lips, nose, eyes, or face. Everyone is urged to take common-sense precautions, such as cleaning and disinfecting surfaces when possible, washing your hands often, refraining from handshaking and kissing, and keeping away from large groups of people whenever possible, to help protect against contracting or carrying the disease.

If you feel ill and think you may have symptoms to be concerned about, such as a cough, sore throat, or fever, call your doctor. Do not go directly to the Emergency Room or your doctor’s office without an appointment. Take precautions so as to not unknowingly transfer the virus to otherwise healthy patients, which would further spread the potentially deadly sickness.
